Bureau of Export Administration

Under an interim rule the Bureau of Export Administration has restructured and reorganized the Export Administration Regulations, the regulatory regime through which it imposes export and reexport and controls on those items and activities within its jurisdiction. This clarifies the language of the regulations, simplifies their application, and generally makes the export control regulatory regime more user-friendly.

This is available as published in the Federal Register on March 25, 1996, although the file is quite large (2.5 mg or larger, depending on format).
