Restraints Against U.S. Exports

The USTR, using Section 301 of the Trade Act, can conduct investigations involving unfair foreign trade restraints against U.S. exports.  If an unfair restraint is found, the U.S. will present the dispute to the WTO or impose unilateral restrictions.
